Giza Minerals was formulated with the view of becoming a mining house aiming at acquiring shareholding in existing mining companies and playing a meaningful role in the streamline of South Africa’s economy. The company  has successfully acquired a Mining Right from the Department of Mineral Resources. Giza Minerals salvaged good business relations with Ergo Mining, Gold One International and Goldplats.

We are currently in the process of setting up a Gold processing plant to process dumps acquired in the East rand of Johannesburg. We are also acquiring few Gold mining assets in Gauteng region.

Directors & Management

Mr Papi Selikoe: CEO

Papi has built an extensive career in the mining industry, extending over 24 years. He has a B-tech Mining Engineering graduate from the University of Johannesburg. He further completed an Advanced Management programme at the University of Witwatersrand business school.

Papi gained experience in mining, working in various management positions for a number of the larger South African mining companies, including Harmony Gold, First Uranium and Gravelotte Mines.

He also co-founded companies like Proto Mining, Protech Mining Services, Phoenix Mining and Mega Space Pty Ltd.

Papi is a holder of a Mine Managers certificate and a member of the Association of Mine Managers of South Africa.

 

Mrs Tshegofatso Galeng: Executive Director

Tshegofatso is an experienced businesswoman, managing different projects within labour relations sphere which is enhanced by her BA degree in Social Science, practical labour relations and human resource qualification obtained at the University of Witwatersrand. She started her career working for Nedbank as a business banker.

She then pursued her career in Human Resource by joining various companies such as Schindler lifts engineering and Central Rand Gold Mine as the management member within the human resource division. She later joined Bureau Veritas Inc. dealing with capital and general management matters. She is now an executive Director at Mega Space Pty Ltd.

 

Mr Molebogeng Modise: Director Mineral Processing

Lebo obtained his extraction metallurgy diploma from Wits Technikon, later upgrading to a B-Tech degree in Engineering Metallurgy at Tshwane University of Technology. Amongst his academics, he obtained a Management Advanced Programme qualification from Wits Business School in 2010.

Lebo joined DRD Gold in 2002 as a junior metallurgist and by 2009 had advance to management and senior plant metallurgist by 2010. He has acquired most of his experience from operating on all DRD Gold’s operations i.e. Blyvoorhuizicht, Crown, City Deep, Knights and Ergo plants.

He later started a metallurgical/mining consultation company, Teak Mining which has previously been involved in minerals prospecting in Zambia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Lebo joined Giza mineral in late 2014 as a partner, with a view to establish mining and processing operations in South Africa.

 

Strategy

Giza Mineral’s primary strategy is to build a wholly black owned mining house in South Africa, our Aim is to optimize first in the gold sector and diversify into other minerals, our surface operation are aimed at building capacity to develop underground mining operations.
